SPIRIT OF DISCOVERY LAUNCHES WITH THE GSX GOLF SIMULATOR ENTERTAINING PASSENGERS.
Saga Cruises had Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall to officially christen the Spirit of Discovery on the 5th of July 2019. The ship is Saga Cruises’ newest and largest ship at 236m length, 58,280 tonnage, 10 decks and a 999 capacity. Part of Saga Holidays who are providing British and European boutique cruises, for those aged 50 plus. To ensure passengers are fully entertained the ship has the Playhouse Theatre “as good as any west end show”, the Club by Jools featuring live shows from musical ensembles, several bars and restaurants. The cruise ship commissioned a range of on-board all-inclusive activities for passengers including indoor and outdoor Swimming Pools, Spa Treatments, Beauty Salons, Gymnasiums and Healthy Living classes. The very latest state of the art GSX Golf Simulator was installed, enabling match play, longest drive and nearest the pin competitions, which is proving very popular with the passengers.
